The school's motto is well reflected in its name – Green Wood International School. It focuses of imparting wisdom to young children, with environment and its protection as the main motive. Using a well defined curriculum and the modern day technology, it lays strong emphasis on 'learning the new way'.

Green Wood International School is spread in a perfect Indian background delivering an international level education to children of Tumkur district. The buildings are spacious and well equipped with modern day facilities for sports and academics allowing the students to experience a world-class environment.

Here, we focus on imparting knowledge and a chance to grow in life to the under-privileged children from classes LKG to V. English and Hindi are the medium of instructions and the curricula involves basic and computer education via smart classes. Apart from developing a child socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally, we also provide them the opportunities to find and develop their latent talent. Students are made aware of the latest events happening nationally and across the world and are asked to contribute to the healthy growth of the needs of their own schools and society.

Green Wood International School is the creation of a trust fund of Sree Rudreshwara Foundation Trust. The president of the trust, Mr. Chandrashekhar P.B. and Secretary Mr. GC Navya founded this school with an aim to educate those who cannot afford to get class-apart education. The Board of Trustees includes leaders from diverse fields who hired trained and experienced teachers and world-class facilities for children to grow holistically.
